# Managing an AI Assistant in GudHub CRM [#](https://gudhub.com/tutorials/ai-agents/managing-ai-assistant/#managing-an-ai-assistant-in-gudhub-crm)

Once configured, an AI assistant becomes a separate member of your CRM team and can perform tasks based on its assigned role, rules, and workflows. To get the most out of your assistant, it is important to configure its settings, integrations, and automation properly.

If you have not connected an AI assistant to your CRM yet, follow the [AI Assistant setup guide](https://gudhub.com/tutorials/ai-agents/setting-up-ai-assistant/) before configuring its settings.

GudHub CRM has a dedicated section for managing AI assistants. Here, you can update the assistant’s settings, enable additional features, configure automated workflows, and control how it interacts with other parts of the system.

Below, we’ll take a closer look at the main AI assistant settings and what each section is used for.

## Managing an AI Assistant [#](https://gudhub.com/tutorials/ai-agents/managing-ai-assistant/#managing-an-ai-assistant)

All AI assistant settings are available in a dedicated CRM section that provides tools for managing your assistants and their work.

To view information about your assistants, click **“Settings”** on the system’s main screen. ![1\_eng](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205206.png) Then go to the **“Agents”** section. ![2](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205207.jpeg) Select the agent whose settings you want to view. ![3](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205208.jpeg) Once you open the agent’s settings, you’ll see several sections for managing how it works.

### Agent Info [#](https://gudhub.com/tutorials/ai-agents/managing-ai-assistant/#agent-info)

In this tab, you can change the assistant’s name, update the API Key if needed, or edit the **Description**.

**Description** defines the AI assistant’s role. It helps you quickly understand what the agent was created to do and what tasks it performs in the system.

Here, you can specify the tasks the agent is designed to handle, the style it should use, and the areas it is responsible for. ![4](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205209.jpeg) The tab also includes a **“Login”** option. When you click this button, a new CRM window opens, allowing you to log in as the AI assistant you created. ![5\_eng](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205211.jpeg) This allows you to check which apps, data, and tools the agent can access and see the system from its perspective.

Since an AI assistant in GudHub works as a separate member of the team, logging in as the assistant allows you to test its settings and make sure it has access only to the resources it needs to perform its tasks.

### Skills [#](https://gudhub.com/tutorials/ai-agents/managing-ai-assistant/#skills)

The **“Skills”** tab is used to manage the AI assistant’s skills.

Here, you can view the skills that are already connected, add new ones, and configure the agent’s capabilities based on its role and tasks. ![6](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205212.png)

### MCP [#](https://gudhub.com/tutorials/ai-agents/managing-ai-assistant/#mcp)

The **“MCP”** tab contains a list of system tools that the AI assistant can use while working in the CRM.

Here, you can view the available tools and their current status. If needed, individual tools can be enabled or disabled depending on the tasks the agent performs. ![7](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205213.png)

### Groups [#](https://gudhub.com/tutorials/ai-agents/managing-ai-assistant/#groups)

The **“Groups”** tab allows you to manage the AI assistant’s participation in CRM workgroups.

Once added to a group, the AI assistant becomes a full member of the group and works within the permissions assigned to it, just like other team members. ![8\_eng](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205216.png)

### Voice [#](https://gudhub.com/tutorials/ai-agents/managing-ai-assistant/#voice)

The **“Voice”** tab is used to configure the AI assistant’s voice interaction settings.

Here, you can connect an external voice service provider, select the model and voice the assistant will use, and configure additional integration settings.

The tab also includes an **“Instructions”** field where you can provide additional instructions for the AI assistant. These instructions define the agent’s communication style, behavior during voice interactions, and how it handles user requests.

Once configured, the AI assistant can use voice features provided by the connected service. ![9](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205217.png)

### Scheduling [#](https://gudhub.com/tutorials/ai-agents/managing-ai-assistant/#scheduling)

The **“Scheduling”** tab allows you to schedule tasks for the AI assistant to perform automatically. ![10](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205218.png) To create a new scheduled task, click **“Add Scheduling”**. ![11](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205219.jpeg) Then, enter the task name, describe the action the agent should perform, and set the start time and execution frequency. If needed, you can select specific days of the week and set a repeat interval. ![12](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205220.png) Once saved, the AI assistant will automatically perform the task according to the specified schedule. This allows you to automate recurring processes, run routine workflows, and delegate repetitive tasks to AI.

### Subscriptions [#](https://gudhub.com/tutorials/ai-agents/managing-ai-assistant/#subscriptions)

The **“Subscriptions”** tab allows you to connect the AI assistant to specific CRM apps and automate actions based on changes to their records. ![13](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205221.png) To create a new subscription, click **“Add Subscription”**. ![14](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205222.jpeg) Then, select the app whose changes the assistant should monitor, choose an event in the **“Event Type”** field (**Add Item** or **Update Item**), and provide instructions that define what the assistant should do next. ![15](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205223.png) Once configured, the AI assistant will automatically respond when records are added or updated in the selected app and perform the assigned tasks according to the specified rules.

### SSH [#](https://gudhub.com/tutorials/ai-agents/managing-ai-assistant/#ssh)

The **“SSH”** tab provides secure remote access to the AI assistant’s environment. ![16](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205224.png) Here, you can view the RSA key used for authentication and establishing a secure connection. If needed, you can copy the key or generate a new one. The tab also provides access to a terminal for performing technical tasks and administering the assistant’s environment.

### Logs [#](https://gudhub.com/tutorials/ai-agents/managing-ai-assistant/#logs)

The **“Logs”** tab contains the AI assistant’s activity logs. ![17](https://app.gudhub.com:443/userdata/41557/1205225.png) It displays system messages, connection information, and other records related to the agent’s activity. This information can be used to monitor the assistant’s operation and troubleshoot issues.

The tabs described above provide the main tools for managing the AI assistant and integrating it into your company’s workflows.

Once the necessary settings are configured, the agent is ready to work in the CRM and can perform tasks based on its role, automation workflows, and defined rules.

If needed, you can expand and adapt the assistant’s capabilities to meet new business needs by adjusting its settings and enabling additional features.
